There are also multi-service clubs like AAA who offer three packages: Basic, Plus and Premier. Basic offers towing up to three miles, spare tire installation, battery boost, fuel delivery, locksmith reimbursement up to $50, travel accident insurance and free maps. Plus and Premier offer more features like additional free towing mileage, higher reimbursement amounts, free fuel with delivery, free one-day car rentals, home lockout reimbursements and travel concierge.

Brands

There are many different roadside assistance clubs that offer their useful features. There may be a family member or friend who uses one of these clubs and may be available to offer their opinion on the quality of the club's services. Some of these roadside assistance clubs are AAA, Allstate Motor Club, Auto Club of America and GM Motor Club. There are also roadside assistance clubs offered from various insurance companies which may be of interest to you.

Prices

Depending on the club chosen, you may have to pay monthly, bi-annually or annually. AAA's packages vary in price from $52 to $141 a year for the primary user and extra $22 to $49 per extra associate. Allstate Motor Club charges $52 a year for their insurance members for all cars on your insurance plan. Each club's fee will vary according to their offered features and benefits.
