Include your current and proper contact information. Include your full name, mailing address, land line telephone number, cell phone number and email address. You must make sure the potential employer has a legitimate way to get in touch with you.
-
Content
-
The request letter, in the body of the text, needs to include specific statements regarding the position or positions that you are interested in applying for, a brief explanation of your experience and skill set as it relates to those positions and at least one reason why you believe the company is an appropriate fit for you personally.
Formal and Polite Ending
-
The beginning of your letter contains the proper salutation and the ending should be just as professional and polite. Wrap up your letter by thanking the individual for taking the time to read your letter and consider you interview request. Close the letter with a simple ending such as "Sincerely" or "Thank You." Make sure to sign the letter after the written listing of your name.
