Hershey Kisses Craft Ideas

Hershey's Kisses are more than just a sweet treat. With a little imagination and a few extra materials, you may turn them into one-of-a-kind decorations and gifts.

Types

With some craft store wings, a bead and a small ring, create a guardian angel or glue the candies together and attach them to florists wire for sweetheart roses. Cover flat foam shapes, such as a Christmas stocking or harvest pumpkin, with kisses. Wrap them in netting, tie them to a spoon and add them to a child's lunch box with a note about dishing up love. Add a pom-pom nose, felt ears, wiggle eyes and a yarn tail to make a mouse.

Functions

Make a collection of the flowers for centerpieces for bridal showers, wedding receptions or birthday parties. Distribute the smaller pieces as party favors, holiday tree ornaments, or gift package embellishments.

Considerations

Because the chocolate melts easily, these decorations are not suitable for use in direct sunlight or hot conditions or for storage. Before eating the candies from the projects, be sure that the wrappers are intact and that the candy has not been in contact with glues or other potentially toxic materials.
