  1. Disposable

    • Many different brands of disposable razors are on the market. Many of these brands sell packages of 2 to 12 disposable razors. These razors vary in styles, including number of blades, use of gel strips, blade covers and shapes of the razors. These razors vary in prices according to brand, number and style.

    Razor with Replacement Blades

    • Permanent razors allow you to buy replacement blades and replace them using the same razor base. The razors are more expensive that disposable razors, but allow you to simply buy replacement blades once you have the razor base. Permanent razor costs may include the razor and some included cartridges. Replacement cartridges vary in price according to brand and amount.

    Electric Razors

    • Electric razors are another option for shaving. Types of electric razors include three-head razors and curved-head razors. Electric razors may be rechargeable and vary as to the number and sizes of the blades, accessories included and cleaning systems. These electric razors are more expensive that the other choices.
