Why Won't My iPod Sync Apps?
When Apple introduced the iPod Touch, it also introduced the ability to download and install third-party applications. Applications can be downloaded through the iTunes library.
-
Types
-
Two primary types of problems will prevent you from syncing apps to your iPod Touch. The first is that you may not have any apps in your iTunes library, and the second is that the apps you do have may not have been selected prior to syncing.
Significance
-
If you've inappropriately downloaded an application or have mistakingly not downloaded it at all, it's likely that the app won't be displayed on your device. Additionally, if you have selected some but not all of the apps you have in your iTunes library, you might be missing some of the apps on your iPod.
-
Considerations
-
Consider starting the sync from scratch. Verify that you have the apps that you would like to download on the iTunes library, then make sure that each app you want to sync is selected in the apps section. Re-sync your iPod and check to see if the apps are on your device.
