The Inspiron 8200 offers high-end performance but has a limited battery life.

The Inspiron 8200, or "I8200," is a laptop made by Dell. The 8200 is at the top end of the Inspiron series of laptops and offers very high-level performance for those willing to pay for it.

  1. System

    • The Inspiron 8200 used an Intel Mobile Pentium 4 processor by default. This single-core processor includes power saving technology for use in laptops. It has a speed of 2GHz and a 512KB L2 cache, which makes a temporary copy of small amounts of data to speed up data recall. The processor uses an Intel 845MP chipset to communicate with other devices. The standard Inspiron 8200 included 512MB of SDRAM.

    Storage

    • The Inspiron 8200 included just 60GB of storage space. That's enough to contain an operating system and several programs, with limited space remaining for user files.

    Video

    • The Inspiron 8200 had a separate ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 Graphics card, so the 8200 offered surprisingly good graphics for a small laptop and was suitable for playing games.

    Dimensions

    • The Inspiron 8200 is 33.1 cm wide, 4.45 cm tall, and 27.6 cm deep, with a 15-inch screen. However, it is very heavy for its size, weighing 3.74 kilograms.
