What Is the Origin of Tissue Paper?
Tissue paper is named after the scientific reference to a thin layer of cells. It's used for gift wrapping and to catch a sneeze. While both are manufactured in thin sheets, facial tissue is soft and absorbent while wrapping tissue is smooth and holds its shape. Does this Spark an idea?

The technique of making paper by grinding plants, then spreading and drying the pulp, was discovered in China about 2,000 years ago. The secret of using wood to make paper was revealed in the 1700s when someone noticed paper wasps chewing wood into pulp, and then using it to make their nests.
