Where Are My Computer Power Saving Settings?

The power-savings settings allow you to customize how and when your computer goes into the energy-saving mode. By configuring this feature, you are not only saving on your energy bill but extending the life of the computer as well.

  1. Windows XP

    • To access the power management settings in Windows XP click, on "Start," then "Control Panel." Click on "Performance and Maintenance," then "Power Options." Configure the settings in the "Power Schemes" tab and drop-down menu.
