Breakdancing & 80's Theme Parties
Flashback to the 1980s by throwing a breakdancing or '80s-themed party. Get the party started with themed decorations and music that breakdancers, punk and glam rockers and preppy yuppies will enjoy.

Breakdancing Clothes and Accessories
-
You can look like a breakdancer straight from the '80s by wearing nylon track suits, wrist and headbands, fingerless leather gloves and Adidas sneakers. Complete the look and carry a boombox and a large piece of cardboard.
1980s Clothes and Accessories
-
Other clothing and accessories worn in the '80s are neon jelly bracelets, bandanas and fishnet gloves. Wear a punk wig, tease your hair, tie hair in a side ponytail or use a large banana clip. You can also wear jelly shoes, blazers with shoulder pads, acid-washed jeans, preppy V-neck sweaters and leg warmers.

Decoration
-
If you can find movie and movie posters from the '80s, hang them all over the wall. Balloons are an inexpensive way to decorate and by combining colors like pink, white and lavender or red, yellow and turquoise, you can give the room an '80s feel.
Music
-
You can play popular music from the '80s, preferably from a tape cassette to get your party started. Play rock, pop and dance song like "Girls Just Want To Have Fun," "Dancing With Myself," "Footloose" and '80's rap like "It's Tricky," "Funky Cold Medina" and "Brass Monkey."
