In Athens, temperatures average around 54 F to 60 F in the spring, while in the fall temperatures average around to 57 F to 74 F. During these times, temperatures in Italy and Spain are slightly lower.

Travelers can save some money by booking their cruise vacations during periods of low season. Low season for travel in Europe is from March to April and September to November.

As spring and fall are low season for tourist attractions as well, it means that travelers have fewer crowds to contend with and that attraction prices are often cheaper.
