What are Full Panel Maternity Clothes?

The majority of pregnant women, at some point, will opt for clothes that support and define their growing bellies. These have come to be called maternity clothes. A very personal preference is the type of waistband panel found on bottoms (pants, skirts) of maternity wear.

Maternity Panels

A panel refers to the waistband of maternity clothing and varies in style, from full panel, covering the pregnant belly, to no panel, which lies below the bump and has no extra material.

Full Panel

The term full panel refers to maternity clothes that have a stretchy waistband that fully (or almost fully) covers the stomach.

Alternative

A pregnant woman may desire different panels at different stages, or even on different days. The roll panel is worn either below the belly or over it, like a full panel, depending on her mood.
