Carpet Cleaning With Brushes
Unsightly stains and odors on your carpeting can make you whole house look bad. Soft brushes are strong enough to handle both spot cleaning and regular or routine cleaning of your carpets. The brushes reach areas of the carpeting that you couldn't otherwise reach. Does this Spark an idea?

Types
-
Carpet cleaning brushes are typically small scrub brushes with bristles that are both long and soft. Brushes designed for use with your steam cleaner or vacuum cleaner have harder and thicker bristles that spin quickly to reduce the pressure on your carpets.
Uses
-
Apply a small amount of carpet cleaner to any stains and lightly brush into the fabric with the cleaning brush. Keep adding a small amount of water to the stain and brushing it until the water becomes clear. Steam cleaners and vacuum cleaner brushes are better suited to full-scale cleaning of the whole carpet.

Warning
-
Never use a stiff brush, such as a nylon brush or kitchen scrub brush, on Oriental rugs or those with thin fibers. The roughness and stiffness of the brush can actually damage the fibers of the carpet or rug.
