Specifications for a Mazda CX-9

The CX-9 is a full-size crossover SUV from Japanese automaker Mazda. Introduced in 2007, the 2010 CX-9 is offered in three trims: Sport, Touring and Grand Touring.

  1. Engine, Transmission and Fuel Economy

    • Each Mazda CX-9 has a 24-valve, double-overhead camshaft, 3.7-liter V-6 engine. It produces 273 horsepower at 6,250 revolutions per minute and 270 ft.-lbs. at 4,250 RPM. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With a 20-gallon gas tank, the front-wheel drive versions of the CX-9 have a fuel economy of 16/22 miles per gallon while the all-wheel drive vehicles have a fuel economy of 15/21 MPG.

    Interior Specs

    • With standard seating for up to seven people, the Mazda CX-9's front space consists of 40 inches of headroom, 41 inches of legroom, 59 inches of shoulder room and 57 inches of hip room. In the back, the CX-9 has 39 inches of headroom, 40 inches of legroom, 59 inches shoulder room and 56 inches of hip room.

    Exterior Specs

    • Each Mazda CX-9 is 200 inches long, 76 inches wide and 68 inches high. The vehicle also has front and rear 13-inch disc brakes, a 113-inch wheelbase and 18-inch wheels. Its curb weight range is 4,300 to 4,600 lbs.
