    Container Roses

    • The root systems of container roses are more developed than those in bare-root roses. Because of this, container roses can be planted in Arizona at any time of year. Be certain, however, that the plant is well-hydrated and avoid planting when temperatures are in upper extremes.

    Transplanting Roses

    • Moving roses from one area of the garden to another is commonly done during spring. However, like container roses, garden roses can be moved any time of year.
