Look Your Best

Always try to look smart. Before you go out trying to pick up girls, always try to look your best; put on clean, ironed clothes, brush and wash you hair and shave. Polishing your shoes and carrying mints to freshen breath may seem like small details, but first appearances count, so make an effort to look your best.
Eye Contact

Eye contact is sometimes the first contact you will have with someone you like. If you see a girl you like, take the time to see if the feeling is reciprocated. Try to make eye contact with her and see if she returns it, this could let her know that you're interested, and may give you the chance to see if she responds.

Respect Her

Many women don't appreciate being stared at. Don't objectify her. Instead of staring at her body, treat her with respect and smile at her. You may like the way she looks, but she may not appreciate your very obvious stares and advances.
Honesty

Try and be honest and open when talking with a girl. When you finally get the courage to talk to her, try to be honest and open. Don't make up stories about your life to make yourself look better to her, but don't tell her your entire life story, either. Instead encourage her to do the talking by asking her about herself. People usually like to talk about themselves.
Compliment Her

Compliments can be helpful, but don't overdo it. Although it is nice to be complimented, it is best not to overdo the compliments at first; she may feel uncomfortable if you launch into endless compliments about her appearance or think you only want her for her looks. Instead work up to the compliments; try to make intelligent comments on what she tells you about herself, and save the compliments for when you know her better.
Be a Gentleman

Offering to pay for a girl is sometimes helpful in a relationship. Chivalry may seem like a thing of the past, but there is nothing wrong with showing some simple manners and courtesy. Hold open doors for her, offer to pay for her and be a gentleman, but don't overdo it by taking over the conversation or refusing to allow her pay if she truly insists.
