The PayScale Report states that as of September 2010, real estate consultants have annual compensation ranging from $30,105 to $60,573. About 40 percents of the consultants have 20 or more years of experience, with five to nine years being the next most common range for 29 percent of the jobs.

Bonuses for the position vary by experience with those at one to four years showing a median of $10,000, decreasing to $9,850 for five to nine years and going down once more for 10 to 19 years at $5,087. Bonuses take a big jump for those with 20 or more years in the business at $12,000.
