Valentine Rose Decorations

Bring roses into all aspects of the decor for Valentine's Day.

Roses are a classic symbol of Valentine's Day. When throwing a valentine party, you can include rose decorations in everything from the tables to food.

Table Décor

Roses can easily bring Valentine's Day tables to life. Create centerpieces with potted mini roses, rose bouquets in colorful vases and rose petals floating in glass bowls. Alternate the various rose centerpieces among the tables.

Food

Decorate cupcakes with faux roses or use icing to pipe ribbon roses on the dessert treats. Decorate a white cake with edible rose petals. Freeze roses and ginger ale in a plastic or metal mold ring to create a floating decoration in a bowl of punch.

Crafts

At a Valentine's Day party, the Kaboose website suggests making foam roses. Use red craft foam and green pipe cleaners to glue together faux roses.

Room Décor

Attach natural or faux roses to a garden arbor to create an interesting entrance to the Valentine's party. Also consider using rose stencils and craft paint to decorate plain white, red and pink balloons. Insert rose wrapping paper into empty photo frames to create wall decorations.
