Check out what appliances are included with the property such as clothes washer and dryer, dishwasher and refrigerator. If a property does not have an appliance you would like to own, make sure that it is set up in such a way that you could easily add the appliance later on.

Research the asking price for the apartment and ensure that it is in line with the going rate for other similar properties in the area.
