What Party Favors Can I Make Using My Votive Candles?
Standing just a few inches high, votive candles come in a wide variety of colors and scents. Although these candles are relatively simple items, you can easily customize them into simple and thoughtful party favors. Does this Spark an idea?
-
Stamped Glass Candleholders
-
Gather votive candle holders with a frosted appearance and choose a stamp design. If your party guest list is relatively small, personalize each candle holder with the party guests' initials. For a large guest list, use a neutral stamp for all the candles, such as a heart, leaves or flowers. Dip your stamp in white paint and gently roll it back and forth on the surface of the candle holder. Allow one to two days drying time.
Candy Heart Candles
-
Take a cue from the Amazing Moms website and use an eclectic mix of items to create playful, interesting votive candle holders. The website recommends using a hot glue gun and craft sealer to attach candy hearts around the bases of the candle holders. There are no rules or limits to what you can use, including buttons, jewels, a strand of pearls and smooth rocks.

Votive Candle Keepsakes
-
A sweet and fragrant votive candle is a perfect party favor for a wedding, bridal shower or anniversary party. Choose scented votive candles in your desired color and place each one in the middle of a circular piece of tulle fabric. Gather the tulle around the top of the candle and tie it with a pretty ribbon.
