Blond Princesses

In keeping with the "golden princess" theme, decorate with images of Disney's blond princesses; that is, the ones with golden hair. The two most famous are Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Use images of these princesses for invitations and on wall cut-outs; you can even decorate with dolls dressed up as these characters for centerpieces.

If you don't want to limit your princess party to Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, open up the field by including images or dolls of all Disney princesses: the previous two, as well as Snow White, Tiana, Mulan, Pocahontas, Ariel, Jasmine, and Belle. However, either dress them all in gold costumes (if you have dolls or cut-outs) or spray-paint their dresses with gold paint to stay in keeping with the "golden princess" rule. If you have a hard time with the spray paint, regular gold paint, applied with brushes, can work on cut-out figures.

While the main focus of your princess party decorations should be the princesses themselves, make sure that you have decorations that reinforce the theme. Use golden balloons and crepe paper, as well as golden cups, paper plates, and tablecloths.
