Can You Clean a Self-Cleaning Oven Manually?
Self-cleaning ovens use very high temperatures to burn away messes left by spilled foods. However, the oven can be cleaned manually if you don't want to use the self-cleaning feature. Does this Spark an idea?

Purpose
-
While self-cleaning ovens do a good job of giving you a sterile cooking space, they do not clear away the mess. Cleaning a self-cleaning oven on your own will give the oven a clean look and help eliminate any odors associated with burned food.
Cleaners
-
Never use chemical cleaners in a self-cleaning oven. Chemicals can damage the oven components. Instead, use a paste of baking soda and water, or a mixture of vinegar and water. Wipe away these natural cleaners with a damp cloth. Be sure to remove any liquid from the oven with a dry cloth.

Grease Management
-
Even if you don't want to manually clean every part of your self-cleaning oven, you should remove any grease from the broiler pan before using the self-cleaning cycle. Leftover grease can catch fire at high temperatures.
