The purpose of theme party decorations is to evoke the party theme with color and other decorating choices. Black and red is the obvious and attractive color scheme for this party theme, along with green for grass. You can also combine red and pink in the party decorations, for example by having a red tablecloth with pink napkins or using a combination of pink and red balloons or streamers.

Polka dots introduce a fun element into ladybug party decorations. A red tablecloth with black polka dots will not be easy to find, however, so go ahead and use a white tablecloth with red polka dots or a red tablecloth with white polka dots. Alternatively, transform a red tablecloth into a ladybug tablecloth using a halved potato dipped in black paint.
