Software for Photo Morphing
Morphing is a special effect in which an item or face in one picture is slowly and gradually transformed into an item or face from another photo. The interesting part of the morphing process is watching the intermediate steps, when the image looks partly like the first photo and partly like the second. Since this is a complicated effect, special software is required.

How Morphing Works
-
Morphing is not completely automatic. The best morphs are created by identifying similar features in the photos you are morphing. For instance, to morph a photo of a person into the photo of a dog, start by identifying the eyes, nose, mouth and ears on each photo and matching them up so the software can make the morph look more realistic.
Output Options
-
Morphing is most effective as a before-and-after display. The most common outputs are either an animated video--showing the progression from the first photo to the second--or a series of still photos that gradually change from one to the next. Each software provides different output. Some may create a video, some may create a series of photos, while others may create both.
