Gmail Mobile Problems
Gmail for mobile is a mobile Web application designed by Google that allows for individuals to access their Gmail accounts using their mobile telephone or smart phone device. There are a number of known issues associated with Gmail for mobile.
-
Access
-
Occasionally there will be a conflict between the mobile phone device and the Gmail for mobile application that will not allow it to be accessed. This problem can be remedied by entering "http://m.gmail.com" into the Web browser of the mobile phone. If Gmail for mobile still cannot be accessed, it is likely that the phone does not meet the necessary requirements to use the Web application.
'Error_ Connection to Server Lost.'
-
From time to time, Gmail for mobile users may run into an error message that reads 'Error_ Connection to Server Lost.' This error message generally appears when the phone loses its signal and cannot access the Gmail for mobile Web application. Once the phone regains a signal, Gmail for mobile should be readily accessible.

Username or Password Incorrect
-
Using a phone or smart phone device that does not have a full-sized keyboard can often make it difficult to type without error. Users will occasionally encounter a "username or password is incorrect" message when trying to access Gmail for mobile. If this occurs, double-check to see if the phone device is not locked on uppercase or lowercase letters and the username and password are being typed accurately using the phone's keypad. If the problem persists, clear the phone's browser cache and cookies and try again.
