It is known to reduce pain associated with diseases such as fibromyalgia and arthritis. It is also said to cleanse the body of toxins stored in the skin and fatty tissues though sweat.

Make sure to stay hydrated. Be sure to bring a bottle of water with you to avoid dehydration. Wear sandals, if permitted, to avoid foot fungus caused by unhygienic floors. Do not remain in the sauna for longer than the recommended time, usually around 30 minutes. Make sure to shower afterward to cleanse bacteria and toxins from the skin.
