Planting Time
-
The best time to plant gladiolus corms is after the last chance of frost has passed, typically midway through spring.
Staggered plantings
-
Plant corms at one-week intervals. The plants will then bloom at different times, prolonging the colorful display.
-
Warning
-
Be sure to plant the corms the right way up. The dead stem from last year's growth should be pointing upwards.
