Information About Yamaha VXR Jet Skis

The 2011 model Yamaha VXR Jet Ski was designed to carry three and has a 1812cc engine, but older models can be found with two seats and less power. The 2011 model has electronic fuel injection, a corrosion protection system and a low rpm (revolutions per minute) mode, which saves on fuel.

Hull and Accessories

The 2011 VXR model, coming in metallic blue or metallic silver, was built using a lightweight NanoXcel hull. Water skis, wake boards and knee board can be attached to the waverunner for those seeking extra thrills.

Specifications

The VXR has a 1812cc displacement with a four-stroke, four-cylinder marine engine. It has an electric start, open-looped water cooling and takes regular unleaded fuel with a tank of 15.9 gallons. The transmission is direct from the engine and the impeller is stainless steel, three-bladed, with 15.6 degrees of pitch. The VXR is 128.7 inches long, 46.1 inches wide and 45.7 inches high. It weighs 728 lbs dry.

The VXR can carry three people and store 15.7 gallons of equipment. It has a slant detection switch, which turns off the engine if the craft overturns. The VXR has a remotely operated security system and comes with a glove box with insulated beverage holders for long hot or cold drives.
