Inkjet Vs. Laser Printer Quality
When buying a printer, there are two different options: inkjet printers and laser printers. While they are very different in price and quality, both types of printers can be useful, depending on the type of print job.

Inkjet Printers
-
Inkjet printers are generally perfect for home printing. They use small ink cartridges and a digitally controlled ink-spraying jet to print images on paper. But they are quite slow when compared to laser printers and ink cartridges will quickly run out after extended use.
Laser Printers
-
Laser printers are more suitable for large volumes of printing. They use a laser to burn the image into paper and can print documents and images in a fraction of the time of an inkjet printer. Also, they will not be smudged by water, like inkjet printings will be. However, they are much more expensive to purchase and should only be used if you plan on printing frequently.

Quality
-
Both printers offer high quality, but laser printers have an advantage over inkjet printers. Because the images from an inkjet printer can suffer ink fading and smudging from liquid, laser printers are preferred for professional print jobs. However, for simple home use or for a small business, an inkjet printer is a more affordable solution and the quality is still comparable.
