Web Content
-
Any content that can be found within an active Web page can be referred to as a Web object. This can include but is not limited to images, videos, blocks of text, animations and banners.
Links
-
The term "Web object" can also refer to any element placed within an offline presentation that is intended to serve as a link to online content. The content may appear within the presentation, or it may need to be viewed in a separate browser.

Uses
-
The primary use of a Web object in a presentation is to allow the presenter to make use of pre-existing Web content. It is often beneficial when presenting information to be able to reference a source other than the presentation itself.
