To keep fabrics clean and fresh-looking, owners must take all precautions to preserve the fabric. Scotchgard, a product made by 3M, can be used to prevent stains and reduce soiling.
Suitable Applications
Scotchgard can be used on most fabrics including cotton, wool, nylon, polyester and silk. It is not recommended for use on plastic, vinyl or suede.
Vera Bradley Product Considerations
If a Vera Bradley product is made from one of the suitable fabrics listed above, Scotchguard is safe for use. Test treat the bag first in an inconspicuous area such as the inside of the bag if it is unlined or the bottom where no one will see it.
Best Results
Be certain to follow the product application instructions and allow it to dry for 24 hours under normal conditions.
