Diamondhead Community is a 2,300-acre private community located on Lake Catherine in central Arkansas. The community is governed by the Diamondhead Property Owners Association (POA), a company that establishes rules and regulations intended to maintain the benefits of living in the community.

Governance

The Diamondhead POA's affairs are managed by a nine-member board of directors who volunteer their time, are Diamondhead property owners and have owned property in the community for at least one year. Directors serve terms of three years and three of the nine directors are elected at the community's annual meetings. Regular board meetings are held on a weekly basis.

Annual Meeting

The Diamondhead POA holds its annual membership meeting at the Country Club at Diamondhead on the third Saturday of each August. Special meetings can be called by the board of directors to deal with issues that cannot wait.
