Can Someone with an Expired Visa Work in the U.S.?
For nonimmigrants to work legally in the U.S., they must have a valid visa that specifically allows them to do so. If that visa expires or the terms of the visa are otherwise violated, the nonimmigrant loses their authorization to work.

Employment Visas
-
There are dozens of employment-based nonimmigrant visa categories. Once an individual obtains an employment-based visa, they may enter the U.S. to work for the duration of their visa status. Nonimmigrant visas are temporary and consequently, nonimmigrants are required to return to their country of origin once their visa has expired.
Penalties
-
Remaining in the U.S. past a visa expiration date is unlawful in nature and subjects the nonimmigrant to removal or deportation. The nonimmigrant visa will automatically be revoked. On top of that, the nonimmigrant can also be classified as inadmissible, they won't be legally able to enter the U.S. for a specified period up to a lifelong ban.
The nonimmigrant may have other U.S. employment and tourist visas revoked as well.

Extending a Work Visa
-
If a nonimmigrant needs to stay in the U.S. past the original expiration date of their visa, they can request an extension by filing Immigration Form I-539, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status, prior to the visa expiration date. Once filed, the nonimmigrant may remain in the U.S. in their original visa status until the I-539 is either approved or denied.

I am 100% agree to this reliable information. A Non-immigrant status like B1/B2 (Business/pleasure/tourism)or H1B (Working Visa) visa holder must be aware of the I-94 attached to your passport upon successfully admittance in United Stated of America whether for how many months or years for H1B. Prior for the expiration of your Visa at least 2 months before you need to decide whether you will extend your stay through filing Form I-539: Application to Extend/Change status with corresponding fees and paperworks that you will need to accomplish. I advise that you will think intelligently your strategy or processes before filing it because it might affect your existing visa if they will deny you from USCIS. It is better to consult your Immigration lawyer and pray fervently to Our Lord God to guide, help, and assist you in the process. Whatever is your plan always seek guidance from God....
