Advanced Chiropractic Training

Advanced Chiropractic Training thumbnail
Back pain is a common reason many people seek chiropractic care.

Chiropractic adjustment is just one treatment used by chiropractors. Because of the new techniques and treatments performed by today's chiropractors, it is common for many chiropractors to seek advanced chiropractic training and specialize in certain fields of chiropractic.

  1. Pediatric

    • Many chiropractors seek advanced training in pediatrics. The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association allows chiropractors to achieve Pediatric Certification through advanced academics and clinical studies. This advanced training offers much information regarding care for children and pregnant women.

    Animal

    • Animal Chiropractic is gaining popularity quickly in the field of chiropractic and is becoming an integral part of holistic animal health care. Some national organizations that offer advanced training in animal chiropractic include the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA); the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) and the Association of Animal Chiropractic Colleges.

    Sports Medicine

    • Chiropractic Sports Medicine is an advanced certification program that allows many chiropractors to specialize in this field. The certification is offered by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.
