As a result, the Henry Ford Company began producing a series of tractor lines. The Ford Company finally sold their tractor division to Fiat Agri in 1993.

    • The first official Ford tractor, introduced in 1907 by the Henry Ford Company, was actually not referred to as a tractor, but instead as an automobile plow. In order to limit production costs, the automobile plow was built out of spare parts from the Ford car line of the era.
