Blackberry Curve 8310 Vs. 8300

Both the BlackBerry Curve 8300 and the BlackBerry Curve 8310 belong to BlackBerry's Curve 8000 series. Very few differences exist between these two phones.

Physical Specifications and Battery Life

The 8300 and the 8310 are identical in appearance, with the same screen resolution, size and weight. However, the 8300 only comes in white, while the 8310 comes in three colors: red, silver and white. Each phone contains 64 MB of memory. Both phones' batteries, on full charge, remain charged for 17 days on standby or four hours of talk time.

GPS and Other Features

The 8310 works as a global positioning system (GPS). The 8300 does not include this feature. Neither phone includes wireless or 3G network capabilities, unlike other, higher-end BlackBerry phones.

Carriers

The 8310 is available through Amazon, Centennial Wireless, Cellular One, Edge Wireless, AT&T, iWireless, LetsTalk, Rogers Wireless, Long Lines, Viaero Wireless, Loudring, Wirefly and West Central. The 8300 is only carried by two companies: Centennial Wireless and Rogers Wireless.
