Once all the required details are elicited their symbolism is explored.

Theories/Speculation

The true history of the cube test is unknown, but some speculate it has Sufi origins. It is theorized that the cube represents the subject, while the ladder is theorized to represent the subject's friends, the horse a lover or ideal lover and the storm some obstacle they face. The flower represents children or the desire for them.
