Eat Clean, Eat Simple
-
The College of Naturopathic Medicine recommends for those trying to shake off the excess of their pass that consumption of easily digestible foods is the best way to begin. As a general rule, if it does not occur naturally, do not eat it. By avoiding difficult-to-digest foods, certainly to begin with, your digestive system will be given the help it needs in becoming efficient.
Be Sensible
-
Clean eating does not mean not eating at all. It is important to eat food you enjoy, and, with all diets, if you are not happy while following the rules, you will not stick to the diet. Enjoy your favorite foods, however, try to take sensible steps in limiting the damage they will do to your body.

Drink Water
-
Consuming between 1.5 and 2 liters of water per day will help keep your new, faster metabolism ticking along. It is important to avoid drinking calories--avoid drinks that add sugar and fat to your diet. By sticking purely with water, many of the excess calories you consume daily will be cut.
