A beach wedding can be an casually elegant affair. If you're a guest, "Aloha Wear"--Hawaiian shirts, tropical-print dresses and skirts and sandals--is the logical choice for a casual Hawaiian wedding. Women can wear sundresses, loosely fitting skirts, linen pants or shorts with tank tops or Hawaiian shirts. Men can wear shorts, cotton or linen pants and cotton shirts of any color or print. Sandals are appropriate footwear for men and women.
Bridal Party

Dress with the tropical climate in mind The bridal party at a casual Hawaiian wedding has a number of choices. Most brides choose "beach wedding dresses," which are usually strapless or have very thin straps. They look much like regular wedding dresses but are made from lighter fabric. Grooms can choose cotton or linen pants and a Hawaiian shirt, or a white cotton or linen shirt. Bridesmaids typically wear brightly colored solid or Aloha dresses, with groomsmen choosing clothing similar to the groom's. Bare feet are common.

Dress for the Climate
-
The average temperature in Hawaii is 80 degrees. Choose clothes that will be comfortable in a tropical climate. Cotton and linen are cool, breathable choices. Sun hats are also a good idea for outdoor ceremonies.
