Window tint has a polyester base that is millimeters thick. It is affixed to the interior of automobiles or interior businesses and home windows to create a barrier from sunlight and absorption of heat. Window tint comes in several shades and colors. It can also provide privacy.

Any window can be tinted. Window tint is mostly found on automobiles, homes, high rise buildings and campers.

Absorption and Reflection

Reflection window tint absorbs heat while letting light through. It keeps heat from reaching the interior of a structure. It can reflect sun light way to reduce heat and glares.

Benefits

Window tint can reduce temperature. It can also reduce your chance for sunburns and skin cancer since it blocks out ultraviolet rays. It can protect your dash from fading, cracking or peeling. Window tint can also help prevent glass from shattering if broken.
