North Carolina DMV Information

North Carolina's Department of Transportation's Division of Motor Vehicles is the state agency that enforces motor vehicle laws, provides motor vehicle and driver services, and promotes highway safety. The North Carolina DMV also offers miscellaneous services including organ donation, identification cards, voter registration, driving records, selective service registration, vehicle crash reports, and vehicle theft records. All changes to vital information regarding a licensed driver including name change, address change and the passing of a licensed driver are handled through the North Carolina DMV.
