Bike Rollers Training
Fitness training on a bicycle is great, as long as it's not raining or snowing, or too cold or windy outside. Bicycle rollers let you train on your own bike indoors, regardless of weather or time of day.

Setup and Location
-
Using rollers on thick carpeting can cause static electricity build-up and should be avoided. New users may want to position the rollers in a doorway or other location where they can steady themselves on either side if they lose their balance.
Training Goals
-
Most cyclists find it difficult to use rollers for more than 60 or 90 minutes at a time, so shorter and more intense training sessions are popular. A power meter or heart rate monitor may be used to track workouts.
-
Airflow
-
Adequate airflow while riding on rollers is needed to help perspiration evaporate. If necessary, use a small fan to direct a breeze across the body.
Distractions
-
Using rollers can be monotonous, so an entertaining distraction can help make workouts more enjoyable. Having a television or radio nearby can provide welcome stimulation while exercising.
