Microsoft provides free online tutorials for casual and novice Access users. For those who would like to become Microsoft Office Specialists, more comprehensive e-learning courses are available. Companies and colleges also provide various Access training formats.

Training

Companies and colleges offer Microsoft Access training in a variety of formats. For example, CBT Planet offers online, on-site and distance-learning classes in Access 2003, 2007 and 2010. Temple University offers seminars and workshops for Access 2007.

Tutorials

Microsoft offers free online tutorials for Access 2007 and 2010. For the 2007 version, tutorials range from building relationships among databases to creating forms, queries and reports. Among the 2010 tutorials is a course in upgrading from Access 2007. Courses include video presentations.

E-learning and Certification

Microsoft also offers e-learning courses in skills training, intermediate skills and advanced skills for Access 2010. Candidates who successfully complete the Access certification exam can become certified Microsoft Office Specialists.
