How to Shop Online at Tesco

Let Tesco bring groceries to your door.

Tesco, like many other large supermarkets,now offers a home delivery service. Simply go online, order your groceries, book a delivery date and Tesco delivers straight to your door in refrigerated vans.

Register for Free

In order to start receiving a home delivery service with Tesco, you need to register. You will be asked for your name, email address and club card number. You may also be required to add your personal postage and delivery address.

Navigation and Shopping

On your home page you can navigate to the grocery section or browse departments. From there you can decide which groceries you want. There is an "Add" box to the right of each listed item. You can click "Add" to add the item to your cart. Your virtual shopping basket appears on the right side of the screen and you can view it at any time using the "View Basket" button. Use the search facility to locate a specific item by name.

Checkout

When you are ready to checkout, click the "Checkout" button to the right. You will be directed to choose your delivery date, time slot and be able to view the delivery charge. You will then be offered a summary of your basket contents and directed to input your password. You may also be asked to sign into your "Visa Click Safe" account if it is appropriate to your circumstances. Once you have checked out you will receive an email confirmation of the date and time of your delivery.
