Code of Ethics for Karate thumbnail
A code of ethics is an intregal part of the martial art of karate.

Karate's code of ethics is a systematic set of principles that disciplines the development of your body, as well as your mind. These ethics are an instruction booklet through which you lead your daily life.

  1. Reason for Code

    • In contemporary society, modern conveniences may make it easy for you to become complacent. If you're not careful, you may fall into the syndrome of believing a prosperous way of life is your right. Your self-discipline may become an afterthought, because your main concern becomes yourself. When this happens, you may lose any regard for other life around you.

    Principles of Code

    • The principles of the karate's code develops your character. Its goal is developing a character that revolves around honesty, trust, tenderness, stability, valor, sincerity, respect and resoluteness.

    Achieving the Principles

    • To attain the principles requires tenacity, inspiration, exertion and an obligation to them. Conforming to the principles redirects your thought patterns, and disposition, towards the environment you live in.

    Destination

    • Karate's code of ethics propels you in your quest to accept your weaknesses, and increase your dependability. It allows you to give, rather than take away from the society you live in.
