Aggressive In-Line Skates Vs. Fitness In-Line Skates
In-line skates are roller skates that place four wheels in a line. Since their introduction to the public, their popularity has allowed for a number of specialized functions. Aggressive in-line skates are so-named because of the dangerous stunts and tricks that are performed with them. Fitness in-line skates, on the other hand, are intended for recreational use or speed skating.

Build
-
Note the long wheel base of these fitness skates Aggressive in-line skates are tailor-made for the repeated wear and tear brought on by performing stunts such as rail grinds and ramp tricks. Their form is customized for their function, and they are typically more durable, flexible, and breathable than other in-line skates.
Fitness skates are made for long, sustained usage. They are made to endure the kind of sustained speeds that most effectively exercise the muscles in the leg.
Wheels
-
One of the major differences between aggressive and fitness skates lies in the wheels. Aggressive wheels are between 42 and 72 millimeters in diameter, and fitness wheels are between 90 and 110 millimeters in diameter.
The shorter, fatter wheels of aggressive in-line skates make for better traction and grip--an essential feature when performing tricks. Fitness in-line skates have taller, thinner wheels that are more suited to responsiveness on curves and acceleration than aggressive skates.

Uses
-
Fitness skates are best suited to paved sidewalks, trails, and roads. Anywhere that is flat and smooth is ideal. Aggressive skates are best used in urban environments because of their more solid, durable wheels. Skate parks and rougher terrain such as pools and uneven sidewalks with rails and ramps are best paired with aggressive skates.
