Big Horn Saddles makes western saddles that are specially designed to fit Arabian horses' unique conformation. Big Horn designs saddles are manufactured in the United States for trail and pleasure riding.

Fit of Saddle

Arabian western saddles by Big Horn are specially designed with Arabian bars with a medium gullet to best fit the horse's body. The saddle is lightweight at approximately 20 pounds. The Cordura Saddle has a standard 26 inch by 13 inch skirt and is available in multiple sizes for the rider.

Material of Saddle

Big Horn saddles are constructed with leather in the seat and jockey area, as well as synthetic nylon material for the fenders and skirt. Leather reinforces the nylon stirrup straps, which have stainless steel buckles. The stirrups are ralide with a laced foot pad. The tree of the saddle is fiberglass covered wood. Some saddles also have conchos plated with sterling silver.

Care of Saddle

Because of much of the saddle is made of nylon, caring for a Big Horn Arabian western saddle is fairly simple. Leather cleaner may be used on the leather portions, while the nylon parts can be wiped with a damp cloth or even hosed down.
