Firefox Address History
Mozilla's Firefox browser keeps track of your browsing history by default, although you can configure it not to do so. You have many choices as to how to find and interact with your history.
-
Address Bar
-
Access your history directly from Firefox's address bar by typing a word into it. When you do so, Firefox will show you any sites you have visited that have that word in them.
Keyboard Shortcut
-
Pressing "Ctrl" and "H" simultaneously will bring up your history in its own window. You can sort through your history by day, by searching on certain keywords and by configuring the view.
-
History by Menu
-
You can access your history via the menus in Firefox by clicking the "History" menu. Clicking "Show All History" will bring up your Library window where you can sort through your history. As of August 2010, in Firefox 4.0 you have to press the "Alt" key to bring up the menus. In Firefox 3.x and prior the menus are already visible.
