Connection
-
Adobe ConnectNow uses a web browser to connect users to each other by audio chat, video conference, text or whiteboard. Users open a web browser and join the meeting using the Flash player. If necessary, the program will prompt users to download Flash plug-ins.
Members
-
A free membership with Acrobat.com allows ConnectNow users to have three people in a web conference. Basic subscribers can host a web conference for up to five people, and a Plus subscriber can host a web conference for up to 20 people. A host can tell members when and where to join a web meeting or have ConnectNow send an email invitation with the information.
-
Functionality
-
The host of a web conference can rearrange and resize windows as she pleases and the windows will change automatically on the participants' screens. A host can share his screen with the rest of the conference party or give control to other members of the group. Users can share files as well.
