Sanyo is a multi-faceted electronics manufacturer. One of their product lines is an array of multimedia projectors, some of which are suited for home use while others are designed for business presentations. Sanyo even makes commercial projectors for cinemas.

Markets

Some of Sanyo's products include projectors for business applications, often designed for large auditoriums; education, which are ultra portable and can be easily moved around a classroom; government, which feature volatile memory to ensure that sensitive information is not retained in the projector when it is turned off; and home theaters, which are designed for quiet operation.

Types

Sanyo manufactures specialty projectors for movie theaters, projectors designed to be permanently mounted in a fixed location, and portable projectors. They also offer what they call "ultra portable projectors" which are common in K--12 classrooms along with other highly specialized projectors, such as their large fixed projectors that are designed to be stacked together to create extra-wide displays for large-format applications.

Features

Many Sanyo projectors are HD and widescreen capable. Many projectors can be connected to PCs, and Sanyo's short-throw projectors can deliver 80-inch-wide images from just three inches away.
