Why Do Laptops Overheat?
Anyone who owns a laptop knows how convenient they can be, however sometimes they might get a little too hot for their own good.
-
Size Matters
-
The compact size of a laptop means that most of the inside parts are placed closely together. All of these parts produce heat, and since they are packed so tightly, that same heat may not escape so easily.
Keep It Clean
-
Dust is not only an annoyance, it can also be the reason why your laptop overheats. Dust can block your fan intake, thus causing the heat to remain inside the laptop.
-
Your Work Area
-
Many times it can simply be the surface the laptop sits on. Soft surfaces, such as a bed or sofa, tend to block the fan on a laptop, causing it to overheat.
